Ways To Break Weight loss Plateau

Are you looking for ways to break weight loss plateau? In every weight loss journey there comes a time where instead of the number going down, it plateaus. This is a hindrance that every person dreads. Mainly because this can take a toll on your self esteem as it provides encouragement in no way.

If you are one of the victims of this aweful state what you first need to realize is that, it is normal. It is normal for your body to successfully loose a couple of pounds initially and then reach a state of no change. What you need to realize is that this is a temporary state and "this too shall pass". Don't let this affect your commitment and your drive.

There are ways to break weight loss plateau, although they might require some extra effort on your part. The main reason your body has reached that plateau is because it has become resistant to the old regime you were following. Yes, your body can build resistance too. The old diet and workout routine is not challenging your body enough. It has become accustom to it. It knows what to expect.

The easiest and most effective way to combat against this is to change up your diet and your exercise regime. You want to shock your body, so that it wakes up again and starts working in its full potential once more. To do this, change your meal for a week or two. Still eat healthy, but experiment. Introduce new and healthy things. Drink vegetable smoothies. Try some lot fat yougurt. Try something healthy that you have'nt tried before. Don't go wild though.

Also change your workout routine. Instead of going for a walk, go for a jog or go hiking. Take up swimming, raquetball or dancing as a means to lose calories.

Remember what you are looking for is a way to shock and wake your body up from a lethargic state.

Do this for a few days and you will start to see a difference in no time. Just make sure that it does not affect your self esteem because it is normal. Just have fun and remember just like you, your body like variety too. So give it that and don't stress!
